FRANKIES 457 WEDDING
A Frankies 457 wedding is sure to be a special affair. In this editorial shoot we dialed up the romance at the intimate venue, infusing bright tones and loads of texture for extra sophistication and fun.
CONCEPT
Green and dusty pastels have dominated wedding color palettes for years, but for couples looking to create something more memorable at their NYC wedding, this shoot offers a joyful alternative. By introducing shades of yellow, the design feels fresh and unmistakably celebratory, while still coming across as timeless and refined.
A ROMANTIC + INTIMATE NYC WEDDING
For a playful take on bold yet sophisticated color, our creative team paired bright lemon and soft buttery yellow tones with natural greens and layered textures. The result is a look that feels like a garden party wedding in downtown New York City: effortless, inviting, and full of personality.
Though intimate in size, Frankies 457 matched the charm of the day with candlelit tables, lush greenery, and its award-winning Italian-American cuisine. The restaurant’s courtyard garden is ideal for cozy gatherings, while exposed brick walls and warm wood details enhance the character of the historic space, restored from an early-1900s blacksmith stable.
The romance extended well beyond the venue. Our bride wore a sheer lace gown and the ceremony site was surrounded by sprays of roses, forsythia, vibrant gloriosa, and golden oncidium. Bold patterned linens adorned each table, and thoughtfully designed letterpress wedding paper set the tone from the very beginning.
GARDEN PARTY WEDDING PAPER
The wedding stationery was designed to evoke an elegant garden party aesthetic. Invitations were letterpress printed on handmade paper with soft deckle edges and tiny flower seeds embedded throughout, setting the stage with a tactile experience for each guest.
Oversized typography and custom embellishments nodded subtly to the iconic Frankies 457 logo. Mossy green outer envelopes were finished with a curated mix of vintage and modern stamps, offering an additional pop of yellow and a sense of collected charm.
Dinner menus were printed on double-arch cream-colored cardstock, while playful scalloped place cards in a neutral sage green were added to complement rather than compete with the vibrant table linens.
FRANKIES 457 WEDDING INSPIRATION
This Frankies 457 wedding editorial was designed to spark joy with every detail. Vibrant color, layered textures, and handcrafted stationery paired with the restaurant’s cozy setting capture the warmth of a New York City summer evening, spent surrounded by friends, family, candlelight, and never-ending toasts.
